Luca Mastrantonio has been Chief Executive Officer of Nuclitalia since May 2025.
He holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Rome, a PhD in Nuclear Plant Safety from the University of Pisa, and a Level II Master's Degree from EUROFUSION in "Nuclear Fusion Science and Engineering." He gained his initial research experience at Italian universities and at the Comissariat à l'Energie Atomique in France. He is an executive manager with extensive experience in project management for power plants in the energy and innovation sectors, with increasing levels of responsibility in various multinational companies (Enel Group, General Electric, Fiat, and the Miller Group).
He served as Head of Nuclear Technological Systems at Enel Group during the construction of two nuclear reactors at the Mochovce Plant in Slovakia. He is currently Head of Nuclear Innovation at Enel and a Board Member at SIET.
